The Sierra Vista Hmong Cultural Arts Program students have the exciting opportunity to explore and celebrate Hmong culture through a special after-school program that brings history, art, and traditions to life. This program features traditional Hmong music, dance, storytelling, and an introduction to Hmong crafts, such as embroidery and fabric arts. Students learn about the Hmong people’s rich heritage, including their language, customs, and the significance of family and community. They also participated in hands-on activities like creating paper flowers, tying intricate Hmong embroidery, and learning simple Hmong phrases. This experience not only expands students’ knowledge of diverse cultures but also helps foster an appreciation for the values of respect, unity, and resilience that are central to the Hmong way of life. Students are welcome to join our program year-round! We are always looking for new people to help grow our HCAP community.

This program accepts students year-round.
